ONE THING TO MENTION - THIS PLACE IS BASICALLY A FOOD "TRUCK/STAND" IN A PARKING LOT, BUT ITS DRIVE-THRU, ONLY. A BIT CONFUSING WITH NO REAL DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGES OR ARROWS BUT THE STAFF IS REALLY POLITE AND FRIENDLY! WE ORDERED 9 BIRRIA TACOS WITH CHEESE, 1 BIRRIA BURRITO (RICE, BEANS, BIRRIA, CHEESE), AND A SIDE OF RICE. CONSUME FOR DIPPING IS ON THE SIDE (OBVIOUSLY), ALONG WITH 2 DIFFERENT HOT SAUCES, A TASTY GREEN SAUCE, AND ALL THE ONIONS, CILANTRO AND LIMES WERE PACKED SEPARATELY. FLAVOURS WERE GOOD. PORTIONS ARE FAIR. ONLY WISH IS THE CONSUME TO HAVE MORE FLAVOUR AND DEPTH. A PINCH OF SALT WOULD HELP TOO. IF THEY HAD A DINING AREA THATD BE GREAT - OUR TAKE OUT WAS COLD BY THE TIME WE GOT BACK TO OUR HOTEL (RE-HEATING EVERYTHING UP WAS A HASSEL) BIT NBD :) WE ENJOYED EVERY BITE! IF YOURE IN TOWN, STOP BY HERE AND GET SOME BIRRIA TACOS!

It’s definitely a vibe here. But I gotta say the birria is just mid. Hardly any flavor for me to taste. I think if anyone wants GREAT birria you should visit “Caliscience” but back to birria Cortez, the service just seems like it’s children everywhere. Could be more attentive within a reasonable time. Secondly it’s a revolving door non stop that the cleaningness of the restrooms can be more upkept, the tables, and floors. The salsa were all room temp and lowkey grossed me. Menus were greasy. And it smelt like a dirty mop. Overall this place for being so hyped up and very new definitely didn’t live up to simple standards. And maybe I’m too critical but this place is definitely a good spot for some drinks and music, and the birria isn’t terrible but I just expected more.

Menudo eas off today. It was not as flavorful as normal. Also, the pig's foot dad no flavor. Seems to me the foot was boiled separately and then out into the bowl of menudo. Had it been cooked with the menudo it would have been nastier.
